MUNITIO x Wango Tango Listening Station

We had a blast at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango demoing Billets for artists and entertainment personalities at the backstage VIP Gifting Lounge.  The line up this year was insane with Nicki Minaj, Pit Bull and Wiz Khalifa headlining. A ton of great artists stopped by the MUNITIO listening station to try out a set of earphones. Among the MUNITIO fans were Gym Class Heroes, Wallpaper and the always lovely Kat Graham. SureFire Sound Spring 2012 Tour brought to you by MUNITIO

The SureFire Sound Spring 2012 tour featuring Addison Groove and Doc Daneeka touched down in Los Angeles at Dim Mak Studios on May, 10th. The night started off with a live set by LA’s very own, Kuru. Kuru dropped many of their own tracks recently featured on Photek’s DJ-Kicks album. Up next was Ten Thousand Yen’s label owner Doc Daneeka who got the room moving with an up-front selection of tracks forthcoming on Ramp, his own imprint Ten Thousand Yen, and Modeselektor’s 50Weapons. Bristol’s Addison Groove finished the night off with an amazing set featuring live 808 reworks of many classics including “Beeps” off his latest album and the Swamp 81 underground juke anthem “Footcrab”.

Fixed Gear Freestyle rider Michael Chacon Segment

MUNITIO, supporter of the fixed gear freestyle movement, spent the day in Venice, CA with their rider Michael Chacon and a few of his talented friends filming and learning more about what initially drew Chacon to the sport at a young age and what motivates him to dedicate his time pushing his riding style further.
